What you will do:
Reporting to the Development Team Lead, the Junior Software Developer is responsible for the efficient design and delivery of high-quality software solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV) and Great Plains to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Full lifecycle application development; Tailor software solutions, customizations and enhancements for customers using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Produces clean and efficient code based on requirement documents following Binary Stream guidelines and best practices.

Creates technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Conducts unit testing and debugging of new and existing systems.

Troubleshoots level 1 tickets following Binary Stream ticket tracking and documentation guidelines.

Demos the solutions to the other development team members (QA / Dev team).

Conducts research & development on existing product features

Collaborates with the team and shares feedback, including what went well, and what we can improve.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related business discipline, and or equivalent work experience.

Up to 2 years of Software Development experience, preferably working with ERP software.

Experience with SQL Server, .NET, object oriented concepts (ie. JAVA, C#, etc.) and other MS tools.

Software development experience in business software.

Knowledge of basic business principles.

Experience working in an agile environment.

Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/NAV considered an asset.
