The finance department is an integral part of the business, ensuring the agency is profitable and information is prepared in a timely manner. The Junior Finance Manager role is vital to the effective and profitable operation of the agency, and its importance in running an efficient business cannot be underestimated.
As the Junior Finance Manager for IMC, you’ll assist the Commercial Finance Manager in the day to day running of the accounting function for our IMC and BDB businesses – Month end, data management & budget preparation. All with the highest attention to detail and accuracy across all processes. You will take full ownership for your tasks and be proactive in identifying smarter ways to work.
Role & Responsibilities
Ownership of the full month end process for IMC, in line with month end deadlines
Month end variance analysis for IMC
Maintenance of Fixed Asset register for IMC
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for IMC
Data Management across all platforms for IMC – Xero, Companion, Salesforce, etc
Client invoicing for IMC
Intercompany invoicing for IMC
Preparation of budget for IMC
Process Improvement
Ad hoc analysis
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience
IT literate and Great understanding of G-Suite
Looking to/currently studying towards an accountancy qualification
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to your internal team and suppliers
Strong analytical skills
Strong level of organisational skills, written and verbal, to your internal and external team
Exceptional attention to detail
Adept at building relationships at all levels
High level of organisation with brilliant multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines so we deliver on time
Cool and calm when working under pressure along with the ability to anticipate – and solve – problems
Ability to produce work to a high standard quickly and professionally
Good team player – collaborative but also a good self-starter, able to work independently
Ability and confidence to support and educate staff (both within the team, and the wider business) to understand our financial procedures
