Biiibo Inc. Hiring for Senior Backend Developer at Toronto, ON Full Time

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will help to design, build, and test new products and features. You will work closely with the development team to create high quality products which are scalable, testable, and extensible and provide high value to our customers.

Biiibo is a fast-growing start-up and market leader in the on-demand delivery service for construction materials and supplies space. Since our launch in early 2020, our team has grown from 10 employees to 90 in less than a year! With proven success in the industry and no limiting runway, we are growing exponentially and we’re looking for driven challenge-seekers to join our team!

Role Responsibilities

Create delighted user experience, develop new features, troubleshoot code defects, and enhance existing features.

Inspiring us with your ideas.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers and other developers to design solutions with quality exceeds industry standards.

Do You Have What It Takes?

Aside from a positive can-do attitude, you’ll need:
5+ years experience with software development.

Good experience with Python web frameworks and applications.

Experience scaling Python and API applications.

Experience analyzing database queries and write good performance SQL.

Good experience being a polyglot software engineer is an asset. (Python, Go, JavaScript etc.)

Experience with fulfillment automation is an asset.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or relevant experience in a role centered on UI/UX design (3+ years of experience preferred).
