Bighorn River Resort Hiring for Sous Chef at Fort Smith, Montana Full Time

Immediate hire now through November. Salary plus gratuities plus free housing, and a travel stipend.

Supporting the Chef in prep, preparation of all items needed, plate design, plating, inventory, ordering, kitchen support.

Great opportunity to work with a small team and to be creative! Provides dinner service on Chef’s two days off.

Experience in the following excellent:

• Knife and prep skills, dessert prep and completion, sauces for all courses, yeast baking, pastries, plate presentation, pastas.
• Cooking skills in cold presentation, saute, some grill, baking.
• Back of the house support upon dinner completion.
• Ordering, inventory, storage organization.
• Front of the house knowledge a plus.

We have a casual fun atmosphere while providing great customer service and fine dining to our guests. The team at Forrester’s is small and work together to take care of 4-14 guests at any given time. Taking good care of our guests with attention to detail is what we love, and love working with a team that feels the same way!

This is a great spot for anyone that loves to fly fish, float or getaway to nearby areas such as Yellowstone Park, Red lodge, and many other famous Montana fisheries. We are also near the Yellowtail Dam, a national park. Should you have your own boat, this is a perfect getaway on days off.
