What you will do
TheOSHC Education and Practice Lead will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with OSHC educational leaders by providing support and advice on educational and pedagogical practices and the National Quality Framework. The role will conduct regular service visits across Big Fat Smile’s 15 OSHC services, to observe, mentor and coach educators on best practices in OSHC. Furthermore, the role will be responsible for liaising with local primary schools and forming effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.

What you will need

• Bachelor of Education or Tertiary Qualification in a related discipline with minimum 5years’ experience in OSHC
• Maintain a valid paid Working with Children Check through the Office of the Children’s Guardian
• A current driver’s licence
• Proven leadership, management and relationship building skills
• Sound understanding of early childhood theory and curriculum planning for children 5-12 years
• Evidence of commitment to an inclusive curriculum
• Demonstrated commitment to the National Quality Framework
• Evidence of two doses of a Covid-19 vaccination or a medical contraindication
