BHS Corrugated North America Hiring for Director of Sales at Hanover Park, IL Full Time

BHS Robotics is assembling a high-performing and dynamic leadership team, intended to drive the organization towards our long-term vision and we are seeking a Director of Sales to join our growing team in Hanover Park, IL!

The Director of Sales will be a key member of the leadership team, who are collectively responsible for the planned growth of the organization through strategic acquisitions and the development of new market segments.

The Director of Sales is specifically responsible for executing all market-facing activities, especially producing high-performing sales teams, and exceeding annual sales targets. You will do this by hiring the best salespeople, implementing successful business processes, and ensuring the disciplined behaviors of your teams who are working to achieve your assigned mandates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet or exceed sales and profit margin targets.
• Lead the sales team.
• Establish and enforce the business rhythm for the sales team including internal meeting times, customer visits, and ing activities.
• Provide support and expertise on individual sales opportunities as needed.
• Work cooperatively with Engineering, Production, and service to resolve project and customer issues.
• Ensure competitive and motivating fixed/variable compensation plans for your team.
• Conduct employee reviews and set goals and direction for employees.
• Actively work with underperformers to improve or exit the organization.
• Develop and drive successful key account development programs.
• Ensure BHS Robotics remains customer-focused.
• Listen and understand the needs of existing and prospective customers. Identify the trends and broad needs of targeted market segments to discover saleable sales opportunities.
• Monitor competition and communicate relevant information.
• Collaborate with Marketing teams to produce content and campaigns that are aligned with our market engagement strategy.
• Develop and execute campaigns designed to reach our target audience and educate them on the BHS brand and the merits of the solutions we provide.
• Create and manage business infrastructure.
• Ensure the team has access to, is properly trained, and rigidly follows procedures for using a CRM to track leads, track opportunities, activity, maintain customer information, and communicate with the BHS organization.
• Ensure demos, presentations, application videos, customer testimonials, websites, and other needed sales tools are available, maintained, and consistent with business strategy.
• Ensure a methodology for consistent review and qualification of sales opportunities before investments are made in proposals and estimates.
• Propose and justify other support systems needed to exceed your goals.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Educational background in Science, Engineering, or other Technical Disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years in a sales management role within the industrial automation industry.
• CRM experience and experience utilizing Microsoft 365 suite applications.
• Proven track record of sales and business growth in automation or related technical fields.
• Proven skills in building and expanding customer relationships.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Demonstrated experience in growing an automation-based business organically and/or through acquisition would be considered a strong asset.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

$156k – $178K + full benefits as seen below!
