Supporting your return to work
The BHP Technical Entry Program is an initiative encouraging new-to-industry talent, people returning to work after extended absences or those requiring flexible work arrangements, permanent part-time and full-time job opportunities. The Program exposes participants to extensive on the job training including 1:1 coaching, mentoring and specialised development that will enable them to put their best foot forward.

About the Roles
Multiple part-time and full-time roles are offered on a permanent basis with access to 1:1 mentoring, development and on the job training and upskilling. Positions can be based in either Perth, Adelaide or Brisbane.
You will work within the team over the course of 6 months whilst completing the training program with intention to then transition into a “Business as Usual” role mutually benefiting your skills, passion and fit within our teams.
About You
We are looking for experienced individuals with a range of different Information Technology qualifications and backgrounds including;
Mining experience is helpful but not essential. We welcome experience from any industry.
You will demonstrate a commitment to safety by acting with integrity and modelling safety behaviours utilising BHPs processes & procedures and taking accountability for the safety of yourself and other team members. Your ability to build and maintain positive, caring working relationships through communicating with impact to influence and drive positive outcomes will see you be successful in these roles. You will have exceptional organisational skills and the focus to deliver a quality, timely outcomes and demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop.
You will possess the ability to adapt rapidly to a changing work environment and respond positively to ambiguous situations. We are looking for great team players who understand the importance of collaboration and have an optimistic can-do attitude.
