About the Role

Our Global BHP Technology function is undergoing an exciting transformation journey and moving towards more modern ways of working. Be part of a newly formed global DevOps team that partners with our Corporate Functions to drive improvement and innovation in safety, culture, productivity and social value through the application of world class technology.

As part of the Corporate Functions Technology (HR Applications) team, you will contribute to the strategy, roadmap, solution design and architecture of BHP’s HR applications and project portfolio. This role is based in Singapore, Perth or Brisbane.

In this role, your key accountabilities will be to:

• Provide input into the technology strategy and functional roadmaps for HR applications, ensuring alignment with global technology strategy and business needs.
• Manage application lifecycle to keep the applications current and relevant for the business.
• Responsible for solution design and architecture governance for HR applications, identifying new solutions and optimization opportunities that will improve the relevance and performance of the global applications and SAP SuccessFactors systems landscape for the HR Function.
• Perform high level solution design for enhancements or changes, incorporating the new design into the existing HR application architecture
• Support the execution of Opportunity Assessment and Identification & Selection process for projects under the HR portfolio.
• Engage with stakeholders in technology and business for technology trend analysis, problem management, business impact scoping and other testing / training requirements.

About You

You will be an experienced technology professional with background in HR Applications looking to move into a product lead role providing solution guidance and ownership of end-to-end product life cycle

The successful candidate should possess:

• 5+ years of experience specializing in the design and implementation of SuccessFactors, SAP HCM and/or other HR applications.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting HR applications in cloud or on-premise
• Deep understanding of at least 3 aspects of Human Capital Management including but not limited to:
  • Personnel Administration
  • Recruitment and On-Boarding
  • Organization Structure and Reporting
  • Talent and Succession
  • Training and Skills Management
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Team player, capable of engaging with and influencing different stakeholders and the ability to manage conflicts/issues with the business/end users.

It is an advantage to have:

• Relevant SAP SuccessFactors application Certification(s)
• Consulting experience in the implementation projects
• Knowledge of fundamental cloud concepts either Azure or AWS
