BGIS Hiring for Finance Manager Job at Gold Coast Full Time

The Role

This role is based on the Gold Coast, QLD

Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. You must also be fully vaccinated for COVID19.

Using a flexible and adaptable approach the responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:

• Provide full financial reporting on the Department’s property portfolio;
• Act as the key contact for all the Department’s accounting matters for both the Department’s Property and Finance Staff and BGIS Services team members;
• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships;
• Full compliance and consistency with the contract and BGIS services business systems;
• OHS & E policies and procedures are met and maintained by all stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

• Extensive Finance Management experience.
• Sound knowledge and experience with relevant legislation and policies standards and agreements.
• A high level of demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Strong demonstrated experience in a property or corporate real estate environment or at a senior level in a similarly complex industry.
• Proven ability in managing a Finance Team.
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial knowledge and skills.
• Proven capability of working within an environment using QA, OH&S and environmental systems.
• Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
• Knowledge and experience in the use of a Computerised Maintenance Management System knowledge (CMMS).
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a financial related discipline.
• Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible / innovative approach
