The Opportunity:

This is a unique opportunity for a suitable candidate to lead a small established Talent Acquisition & Engagement team, based in the Perth CBD, delivering top talent to an organisation that is seeking growth. This is a full-time permanent position which drives pro-active resourcing that aligns with the business requirements for both WA and NSW offices. Key to the success of this role involves building strong internal relationships, partnering with hiring managers and lead teams to understand their needs and being hands on in the end to end talent acquisition process and engagement of candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leaders in the assessment of hiring trends, propose and implement recruitment strategies.
• Build a sustainable sourcing and talent pipeline for available positions and future talent needs.
• Actively headhunting professionals in white-collar roles utilising a range of sourcing strategies such as LinkedIn recruiter and engaging the business to attract a consistent flow of talent.
• Invest in the development of team members and provide meaningful and valuable feedback.
• Measure and track recruitment activities and measure key analytics
• Design, track, and measure key analytics for ing
• Conducting strategic market mapping and talent pipe lining
• Drive innovative practices and define recruitment workflows and process.
• Assist and support leaders and the T&E team with the onboarding of their new hires by establishing their induction journey during their first three months at BGER.
• Be the first point of contact in the people and culture team for new employees and ensure that they get the best onboarding experience.

Who are You?

• Experience leading an internal talent acquisition team.
• Ability to communicate openly with your team to promote transparency and lead by example.
• Proven experience working in a similar position within the engineering sector (ideal but not essential)
• Have a strong background and passion for recruitment and headhunting.
• Ability to build and maintain long-standing relationships with all levels of seniority.
• Experienced across multiple talent-search tools and software.
• Ability to influence others to think outside the box and thrive by promoting an environment where innovation and continuous learning is encouraged and valued.
