Founded in April 2020, our 60-strong team combines climatic and earth sciences, sell-side financial research, earth observation, machine learning, data and technology, engineering, and public policy expertise. Our head office is in London, and our people work from six continents.
Job Description:
BeZero is rapidly expanding, with plans to bring on more than 60 members of staff this year, and we are looking for our first dedicated Talent Acquisition Manager, who will report into the Operations team.
This role is an exciting opportunity for you to come in and take ownership for developing, improving and running sourcing and recruitment activities for a cutting-edge climate business. You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact from Day 1, and help us work much more proactively that we’re currently doing, including attracting diverse talent, and working out a months-long view of hiring needs that ties into our vision for the business.
Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business leads across the company to understand their wants and needs, and how these translate into recruitment priorities
• Work closely with the Leadership team to build and maintain an up-to-date recruitment plan
• Work closely with business leads to craft and finalise job descriptions
• Lead candidate sourcing activities with attention to diversity and inclusion
• Manage candidates through the full recruitment process from outreach or application to offer, including screening
• Identify and implement improvements to our recruitment processes, including using technology
• Monitor and manage our Applicant Tracking System
• Track and report recruitment progress
• Attend job fairs and recruitment events, and build relevant relationships in the market

You will be our ideal candidate if:

• You have 2-4 years experience recruiting, either for an agency or in-house, with a solid understanding of full-cycle recruitment
• You have recruited in or for a rapidly scaling company
• You have a demonstrable history of using creative sourcing methods and channels
• You have great communication and relationship management skills, whether with senior stakeholders in the business or approaching possible candidates
• You’re genuinely motivated by helping people-centric businesses find the right talent
• You have good knowledge of UK recruitment legislation
• Preferred: You have recruited for climate- or sustainability-focused roles in the past
