Beyond Beige is an interior design firm located in North Vancouver, BC. We have been in business for 18 years.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who works well independently. This individual will fill a flexible part-time Accounting position which requires approximately 30 hours per week, depending on workload. The successful applicant will be part of a collaborative energetic team of highly motivated & creative individuals. There is the opportunity to work from home as well as in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

– Payroll Including Commission Calculation

– Government Remittances; PST, Payroll Taxes, GST, Corporate Taxes

– Accounts Payable

– Accounts Receivable

– Maintaining Bank and General Ledger Reconciliations

– Review Monthly Financial Statements

– Prepare & Submit Year-End Financial Statements to External Auditor

Skills & Experience

– Strong knowledge of concepts within a design industry

– 5 Years Full Cycle Accounting Experience Required

– Strong English Communication in Written & Verbal

– Strong Organizational Skills with the Ability to Prioritize

– Experience using; QuickBooks, MS Office, Outlook, Replicon, Designer Logic

Part-time hours: 30 per week
