Summary:
The Packaging Operator will perform daily operational tasks and functions required to produce high quality and safe RTD beverage products. **This company is a distillery and manufacturer of alcoholic beverages**, in addition to other beverage categories.
Standard hours will be Mon-Thurs from 7:00am – 5:00pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Blend and prepare product for packaging.
Inspects and prepare packaging materials.
Setup, maintain, and operate production equipment.
Run basic testing and analysis assays.
Responsible for cleaning production line and area.
Cleans and maintains common areas as assigned.
Complies with company policies in accordance with all regulatory and food safety needs.
May assume food safety, quality, and compliance responsibilities of a Packaging Operator II in case of absence.
Completes other duties as assigned to meet company needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
Previous food or beverage manufacturing experience is a plus.
Language Skills:
Able to read and write in English.
Must be capable of working and communicating needs within a team environment.
Quantitative Skills:
Basic mathematical skills required to keep accurate inventory and work order adjustments.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Forklift experience a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Proficiency with computer based software such as SAP and MS Office is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Work Environment:
The majority time will be spent standing in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently exposed to fumes, chemicals, loud noises, and moving equipment, and temperature variances.
