We have a full-time career opportunity for an ambitious, creative thinking, resourceful Sales Account Representative to join our small dynamic team in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami are at Beurer North America, a European healthcare company. The ideal candidate will have experience working with retailers and has previously helped build a consumer product brand; will be extremely organized, communicate professionally, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

The Sales Account Representative is responsible for managing several of our key retailers, maintaining a long-term relationship with retailers, and maximizing sales opportunities. They will be the lead point of contact for all assigned retailers and manage all business matters and needs to help the retailer succeed. The Sales Account Representative will also bring in new business from existing retailers or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential retailers.

Responsibilities include:

• Support sales team.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of small to large sized key retailers.
• Achieve monthly sales targets by identifying and developing new retailers.
• Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on prospective leads.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction as well as up-sell and cross-sell potential within existing retailers to maximize share of wallet.
• Develop and maintain solid and trusting relationships between assigned retailers in the drug and grocery channels and within Beurer.
• Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales follow up by meeting all assigned retailer needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines.
• Develop strategic business proposals, monitor/analyze the competitive landscape and trends, and stay up to date with industry and retail developments.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Prepare power point presentations for retailers.
• Review, compile, and analyze key retailer sales s and IRI data to increase sales.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort by managing communications between key retailers and internal teams.
• Be open to wearing different hats as we are a growing team!
• The first 2 months must be in-person for training.
• Minimum Office Requirement: 3 days after 2 months of training.
• Office Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM | 1 hr paid lunch break.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales or relevant field.
• 3-5 years of outside sales representative / sales account representative experience preferred.
• 1-5 years of CPG experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and presentation skills are a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
• Ability to travel to assigned retailers’ headquarters, sales events & training, and tradeshows.
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, set goals, develop a plan and execute.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and work on multiple projects and complete high quality work against deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent computer skills are essential, particularly proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as a member of various teams or to work independently.
• Effective time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
• “Self-start” mentality. Beurer will provide extensive training and assistance, however, the initiative to research and look things up first goes a long way.
• Collaborative and a team player.
• Fluency in oral and written English, German language skills a plus.
