An exciting and interesting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join our Group Finance team on a permanent basis. The role will be based in Harrogate Pagoda House offices, however we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements for this role including hybrid working.

We have a small Group Finance team led by the Group Financial Controller. This role will support the Management Accountant to provide financial support to the Central Services functions. This will involve supporting the production of the management accounts and maintaining the accounting ledgers along with involvement in the forecast and budget processes.

The ideal candidate:

• Will have a good working knowledge of MS Office and strong excel skills
• Will have a sound understanding of double entry book keeping and. preferably have experience of working in a Finance environment. You may be part qualified (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or have a desire to undertake professional qualifications.
• Must have excellent communication and organisational skills and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Will be able to prioritise, work to deadlines, and be a competent team player.

This role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week, between the hours of 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday.
