Bettles Lodge Hiring for Housekeeper at Alaska Full Time

We need a Housekeeper!  

Bettles Lodge is a small rustic lodge with 14 rooms total and 8 of those rooms don’t have plumbing in the room itself.  There are 8 total bathrooms.  We specialize in Northern Lights viewing and also offer other activities such as dog sledding, snowmachining, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.  We pride ourselves in superior customer service.

Your primary job will be housekeeping; however, you can expect to help with answering phones, cooking, outside maintenance, snow shoveling, dog yard/poop scooping, snow machine fueling and all-around customer support.  With a small crew, teamwork is essential.  

Our winter season starts approximately October 1 and runs until the second week in April and if you love Bettles, we will need help in the spring and summer as well. 

A private sleeping room with shared bathroom provided and 3 meals per day are provided.  Tips are split evenly between the crew.  If you successfully complete the season, you will also be eligible for an end of season bonus.  We will provide transportation between Fairbanks and Bettles at the beginning and end of your employment.

You will also have the opportunity to see the northern lights, go snow machining and dog sledding.  You can also use our cross country skis and snowshoes; however, you will need to provide your winter outer gear.  We love to work and play hard!!
