Betashares Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

About The Role

Following the announcement of our plans to acquire a superannuation business, we’re seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist with prior experience in recruiting within the financial services and/or superannuation sector to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll have responsibility for the recruitment process across multiple positions crucial for the successful transition of our recently acquired superannuation business. You’ll also be involved in assisting with general recruitment efforts for our ETF business. The roles you will be recruiting for encompass various levels, and specialties, and include contract, fixed-term, and permanent positions.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the end-to-end recruitment process across business areas
• Screen and evaluate candidate applications, conducting thorough phone interviews to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
• Utilise various sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn, careers page and employee referrals, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
• Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and the People and Culture team to deliver talent into the business
• Assist in educating and training managers in ‘best practice’ interview techniques and their responsibilities in the hiring process
• Manage all candidates effectively throughout the recruitment process
• Manage candidate expectations and ensure timely and constructive feedback
• Conduct role briefings with hiring managers and set expectations for the recruitment process.
• Partner with hiring managers to facilitate candidate selection and offer negotiation to onboarding

Key skills and experience

• Minimum 5 years recruitment experience
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
• Previous experience recruiting in the financial services industry is highly desirable
• Demonstrable understanding and proven experience in internal or agency recruitment
• The desire and ability to consistently exceed expectations of all stakeholders
• Ability to establish business relationships with all levels of stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-moving team environment
• Desire to remain ahead of the curve in recruitment and sourcing innovations and practices
