The Role:

bestchance Child Family Care is currently seeking an exceptional individual with a positive and proactive approach to join our passionate and supportive teams at our kindergarten services at Bayles, Bunyip, Garfield, Koo Wee Rup, Lang Lang, Nar Nar Goon and Warragul.

Job Details:

Session Times: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Total Hours: 22.5 hours per week

This position will be assisting at the follow kindergarten services as and when required:

• Bayles Preschool: 660 Koo Wee Rup-Longwarry Road, Bayles VIC 3981
• Bunyip Kindergarten: 29 Princess Street, Bunyip VIC 3815
• Garfield Kindergarten: 29-31 Garfield Road, Garfield, VIC 3814
• Koo Wee Rup Preschool: 356 Rossiter Road, Koo Wee Rup, VIC 3981
• Lang Lang Kindergarten: 3 Whitstable Street, Lang Lang VIC 3984
• Nar Nar Goon Kindergarten: 13 Main Street, Nar Nar Goon VIC 3812
• Warragul Primary Early Learning Centre: 48-62 Bowen Street, Warragul VIC 3820

Please note that this role will require travel between the above named services.

You will stand out if you:

• have experience in a kindergarten environment, working within a strength-based and family centred approach
• desire to develop warm, respectful and positive relationships with staff, children and families
• a genuine passion in creating a safe, secure and nurturing environment
• an ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.

In addition to the above you will need the following to be considered for this role:

• completed an approved Diploma in Education and Care qualification
• hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check
• hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting)
• successfully completed ‘Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations for the Early Childhood Sector’ training
• have a well-developed understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and National Regulations
