Full-Time Front Desk Agent for Immediate Hire in Mattoon IL

Do you enjoy meeting new people and promoting local experiences?

Our front desk attendants represent the Hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest’s stay to ensure every guest experiences superior customer care.

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel-related experience is preferred, but not necessary.
• Ability to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner.
• Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events.
• Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, and cash handling policies and procedures. Able to properly secure guest information.
• Skilled in the use of front office equipment. Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.
• 18 years of age or older

The current position is full time (5) day shifts 7AM – 3PM however, must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 – $16.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mattoon, IL 61938: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
