Purpose of Job:
The role will encompass, but not be limited to Level 1 IT Help Desk, Information Technology software and hardware management, 365 administration (SharePoint, PowerApps, OneDrive); creating relevant training and delivery, troubleshooting, proving ongoing support, telephony, and more. The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently both as a team, as well as with minimal direction, effecting good judgement, and following the policies and procedures of Best Service Pros.
Reporting Structure: The Junior Systems Administrator reports to the Manager of Innovation and Technology.
Responsibilities:
IT Help Desk Level 1;
Manage IT ticketing system (Zoho);
Onboarding IT training including: systems, software, hardware, procedures and policies;
Working with Level 2 & 3 issues with outsourced IT company;
Creation and management of PowerApps, SharePoint sites, and Communication Page;
Supporting change management with software, hardware and process training;
Hardware tracking, maintenance, ordering, shipping, replacing/upgrading, transferring & decommissioning, vehicle tracking, ADP timeclocks, IOT products, security cameras, MFP;
Telephony: IP telephone system, phone tree, mobile contracts & hardware;
Other duties as required to support business growth including but not limited to: workstation set-ups, site visits when required, IT stock levels, report creation, expense reports & data entry;
Skills Required:
Hands on experience using, managing, and editing SharePoint, PowerApps, OneDrive, 365 Suite; (Experience using PowerApp is strongly preferred)
Excellent in identifying malicious attacks via emails, web, and software (phishing, virus, malware, etc..);
Excellent communication (written and verbal) & interpersonal skills to succeed in a collaborative environment;
The ability to take direction, working in a team environment,to be self-motivated, functioning independently, and balance immediate tasks with long term projects;
Intrinsic ability to effectively analyze, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines;
Education & Experience:
Secondary School IT training (some post secondary education considered an asset) or 3 years of experience in a similar role;
Acceptable security and criminal record check;
