Best Buy Hiring for Sr. Specialist, Contract and Sales Compliance – Hybrid Full Time

The BBYB (Best Buy Business) Contract and Sales Compliance Sr. Specialist works cross functionally with the BBYB sales leadership team and other internal partners to develop sales contract strategies, as well as negotiate, execute and maintain BBYB sales contracts. Additionally, this team provides analysis, oversight, and support to the BBYB sales teams to ensure compliance with all applicable laws in alignment with Best Buy policies and procedures.

This role is hybrid, which means you must be located within a drivable distance to our Best Buy Corporate office in Richfield, MN.

Key Responsibilities:
1. BBYB Sales Contract Management

• Proficient in every phase of the contracting process, including redlining, negotiation, execution, administration of contract extensions, terminations, and renewals.
• Assist sales teams by analyzing RFP requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions, regulations and corporate policies, while facilitating the signature authority requirement for participation in RFPs.

2. Sales Contract Compliance and Risk Mitigation

• Ensures protection of company interests and intellectual property through compliance with contract terms, policies and regulations.
• Develop a working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and policies specific to the business in partnership with BBY Legal.

3. Degree of Responsibility

• Independently manages high volume of contract sales agreements

4. Communication

• Communicates with clarity – both written and oral, in a concise and meaningful manner.

5. Data Entry, Processing and Maintenance

• Coordinate the processing, storage and maintenance of sales contracts, POs, certificates of insurance and other contractual documents necessary to maintain sales relationships.

Basic Requirements:

• 1+ years of Business, Finance, Business to Business Sales or related experience
• Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel)

Preferred Requirements:

• 5+ years of Business to Business Sales; including Group Purchase and Government Sales Contracts
