About you

You are an enthusiastic individual who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment. You are creative and up to date on design software, social media trends and industry know-how. Your attention to detail is impeccable and your ‘can-do’ attitude allows you to use initiative when it’s needed most.

You are a progressive thinker and have an adaptable, positive outlook with a minimum of 1+ years’ experience in marketing and/or communications. You are passionate about social media and have mastered the art of digital content curation. You are confident in using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite as well as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or communications will be highly regarded.

This role is ideal for a first or second-year graduate who is eager to carve out a meaningful career in the consulting and agency world.

About your new position

As our Social Media & Marketing Assistant, you will be working with the senior account managers on the day-to-day output of our client’s content. You will support the Marketing Manager across a varied range of tasks from social media content creation, EDM delivery, website management and more. Your role will be crucial in proactively contributing to high-value projects and enabling all team members (and yourself!) to achieve great things.

• Collaborate closely with our Marketing Manager and Senior Media & Communication Specialists across a wide range of digital and print content
• Curate client content calendars, including planning, copywriting, asset creation, and scheduling across all social platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
• Create visually appealing and informative content that reflects our and our clients’ brand identity, ensuring alignment with key messages, goals and values
• Develop engaging and captivating visual assets, including but not limited to videos, reels, static images, infographics, printed assets and more
• Deliver monthly client s on essential digital and social media metrics and activities
• Editing and formatting of key documents and s
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Assisting the senior account managers with client delivery and research
