Part-time contractor consulting position – Senior level accounting professional capable of working independently to clean-up and integrate multiple sets of books from recent business acquisitions. Applicants must have strong knowledge of day to day accounting practices for manufacturing businesses with the ability to implement and improve processes. Must be well-versed in Quickbooks Enterprise and Quickbooks Online.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently and with current staff to assist and learn current day to day accounting functions
• Independently familiarize themselves with current financial books and accounting practices of current operations and newly acquired business
• Implement new processes and procedures to streamline business financial operations
• Assist in managing Account Payables, Account Receivables, and Banking functions
• Ability to communicate with upper management their analysis and plan

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or equivalent
• 4+ years accounting experience in construction or similar industry.
• Proficient communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
• Should possess self-management skills and ability to work with limited supervision, basic computer skills and competency.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 – $75.00 per hour
