Job Title: Recruiting Specialist
Duration: 6 months

Location: REMOTE

Position Overview:

This contract role will provide tactical and strategic recruitment for the firm’s Early Career and Internships to attract the best talent to support our business objectives. In this role, you will make a difference by sharing the benefits of the firm with promising applicants. This position will be a true ambassador of the culture and a match maker between the potential candidate and the hiring business unit.

Job Description:

• Partners with leadership to define the need for early career and intern talent. Tracking and managing requests.

• Drives implementation of newly contracted sourcing tool RippleMatch to attract and engage with students who might not be familiar with the Insurance industry.

• Develops applicant pipelines using a variety of different sourcing methods.
• Manages and actively participates recruitment schedule and content for events targeting new graduates and students; job fairs; college relations programs; general networking; etc. to ensure robust candidate pipeline.
• Prescreens candidate applications and resumes for required skills; experience and knowledge to fit position requirements. Makes referrals to hiring manager and ensures efficient turn-around activity.
• Facilitates the candidate selection process: scheduling; interviewing; job offer.
• Remains current on trends and innovative recruiting techniques to compete in market and within industry. Advise hiring managers and HR team members on new interview techniques that will attract top talent hires.
• Participate in special projects and/or process improvement efforts as needed
• All other duties assigned.

Skills:

• Proven solid foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law.
• Proven client management and business literacy skills
• Proven experience implementing new sourcing and recruiting tools

• Proven knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components to include sourcing; qualifying; networking; assessing; selling and wage/salary trends with a focus on young professionals

• Ability to build confidence and strong relationships with hiring managers
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
• Ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Proven skills in MS office suite, ICIMS and Workday
• 3+ years’ experience in full lifecycle recruiting
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
