Role & Responsibilities

As the Family Office Investment Controller your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and perform all accounting and financial functions for the family office including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, trial balance, account reconciliations, cash management and financial reporting.
• Responsible for treasury management including facilitating all incoming and outgoing wire transfers and inter-company fund transfers.
• Develop/design and produce monthly and annual entity, individual, and consolidated financial statements (balance sheets, cash flow, income statements, and investment performance reports) for both internal and external review.
• Produce annual budgets for entities/individuals and monitor actual versus budget and report on variances.
• Maintain 10-year cash flow and balance sheet projections.
• Interact and correspond with family members concerning expenditures, investments, and distributions.
• Serve as liaison and daily point-of-contact for selected external relationships (e.g., bankers, investment managers, external tax professionals).
