Objectives:

• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the terminal including the routing of drivers. Give quotes to customers, receive loads, dispatch drivers, enter load tenders, transmit paperwork to the home office. Handles all concerns or problems with drivers, customers, home office, permit office, etc.
• Make sure drivers are legal in all ways. Drivers must have available hours to deliver loads in a legal time frame, be fully qualified and in compliance.
• Makes sure all drivers attend 2 safety meetings per year. Constantly talks safety with drivers when communicating with them in person or on telephone.
• Always looking to recruit new, safe, qualified owner operators to Ace Doran in order to increase capacity and increase revenue.
• Drive growth by strengthening relationships with existing customers and also developing new customers to broaden customer base and increase revenue.
• Increase Brokerage capacity and revenue.
• Work with Accounts Receivable Department making sure all invoices are paid in a timely manner.
• Always remain mindful of the company’s core values and conduct business accordingly.

• The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Transportation Management.

• Must have extensive experience (5+ years) in Van truckload transportation, including company truck fleet operations and a comprehensive knowledge of the Owner Operator/Agent business model.
• Keen analytical abilities.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of Federal/State transportation regulations.
• Knowledge of equipment types, capacity and capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of financial statements.
