Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD Looking for Structural Test Engineer at City of London, London Full Time

Structural Test Engineer – Required for our client that will be based out of there Central London Office. The Structural Test Engineer will be working for a company carry out on site structural testing and monitoring for complex civil engineering and demolition projects. The Engineer will be moving in to more of an operations manager role.

The Structural Test Engineer should have 5 years’ experience on site with a site engineering, material testing, and structural surveying background. This role will suit an Engineer looking for that next step in their career to become an Operations Manager. The Engineer will be working on initial enquiry phase, through to preparing a quotation for the work, method statements and allocating resources to do the work. A clear understanding of how reinforced concrete structures and steel frame structures buildings are constructed would be advantageous.

Structural Test Engineer Position Overview

• Planning the day to day activities of the site teams
• Structural: Testing, monitoring & investigating.
• Surveying: 3D scanning, ferro scanning, 3D photo scanning, monitoring.
• Managing/supervising the works
• Producing RAMS & detailed reports including 3D sketches.
• Preparing tenders and quotations for works

Structural Test Engineer Position Requirements

• Degree qualified engineer in MEng or BEng
• 5 years + site experience
• Able to write and check technical method statements and reports
• Commercially aware
• Knowledge of relevant legislation
• Knowledge of concrete, steel, masonry structures and construction materials

Structural Test Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary DOE
• 25 days Holiday annually
• Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
