.Net Developer

Benefit Recovery (BRG) provides best-in-class financial subrogation services for the largest companies nationwide and proudly serves
1 out of every 4 Fortune 100 companies. BRG represents our clients’ financial interests and rights under their self-funded health
plan and seeks and negotiates reimbursement of paid health expenses from the at-fault party’s insurance policy.

.Net Developer

As a .NET Developer for BRG, you are responsible for onboarding clients and importing client data into our custom application using
your skills in SQL, C#, and .NET. You will also use those skills to assist in application enhancements and problem ticket resolutions as
needed. As a part of a small high functioning team, you should be flexible and be comfortable with wearing many hats.

To be successful in this role you must be highly organized, have the ability to solve problems with critical thinking, and be motivated by
your individual accomplishments.

Job Responsibilities

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

  • Owns the Onboarding and Importing processes using skills in SQL, C#, and .NET
  • Customizes client data files to map correctly into our systems
  • Troubleshoot issues with our Client Services team related to onboarding and importing
  • Interact with lead developers as needed
  • Make application enhancements and own problem tickets as necessary

Qualifications

  • B.S. in a relevant field preferred. Equivalent experience and proven ability may be considered in lieu of.
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL, C#, and .NET framework
  • Superior knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and flexible

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Powershell
  • Experience in WPF/Winforms
  • Experience in TFS or code check in software
  • Experience in Visual Studio
  • Experience in JIRA
