The certified nursing assistant os responsible for providing resident care as required under the direct supervision of the RN or LPN.

Responsibilities

The CNA-NAR is responsible for providing resident care as required under the direct supervision of the RN or LPN. Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all residents and documents the plan of care results. Completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care. Communicates and interacts with patients, residents, families and other health team members to assure resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications Required

• In good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity. (Or enrolled in a State approved Nursing Assistant course within 10 days of hire.)
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Qualifications Preferred * Experience in health care or long term care.

• CPR certified.
