The Position
Position Title: Student Vaccinator
Classification: General Services Worker (KM1)
Salary per hour (exc. super): $23.70 per hour
Hours per fortnight: up to 76 hours per fortnight available

The Team
The COVID Vaccination Clinic is located at 113-133 Mollison St, Bendigo. The Clinic was established as the administration and distribution hub for the Astra Zeneca and Pfizer vaccines and will be responsible for direct and supported delivery of COVID-19 vaccines across the Loddon Mallee Region. This includes outreach to many of our regional sites. The interdisciplinary team rotate through the various roles associated with the daily running of the clinics.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
01.Current enrolment in a Bachelor of Nursing, Medicine, Paramedicine, Dentistry, Oral Health, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Podiatry or equivalent.

02.Demonstrated satisfactory academic progress (credit or above for all subjects and competency in clinical placements preferred but not essential)

03.For Medical Students – evidence of successful completion of all units of study from the third year of a Bachelors Program or the first year of study of a post graduate/masters program at a participating university.

04.For Paramedic Students – evidence of successful completion of all units of study from the second year of a Bachelors Program

05.For Dentistry Students – evidence of successful completion of all units of study from the third year of a Bachelor’s program, or the second year of study of a post graduate/master’s program at a participating university.

06.For Oral Health Students – evidence of successful completion of all units of study from the second year of a Bachelor’s program.

07.For Physiotherapy Students – evidence of successful completion of all units of study from the second year of a Bachelor’s program, or the first year of study of a post graduate/master’s program at a participating university.

10.Registration as a student with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no conditions or undertakings

11.Must have demonstrated competency in the administration of intramuscular injections as assessed by applicable education provider

12.Must have successfully completed all modules within the Victorian COVID19 eLearning Competency available at covid19vaccinationtraining.org.au

13.Must have successfully completed all modules within the National COVID19 Vaccination Training Program including the Astra Zeneca and Pfizer supplementary eLearning Modules available at www.covid19vaccinationtraining.org.au

14.Must be willing to undertake the CVMS training upon commencement to receive the Victorian COVID19 Clinical Skills and Competency Certificate

15.Ability to work AM and PM shifts over a 7 day roster
