About the team and role
Group Finance provides financial management, financial information and financial solutions.
We support the Group by:
Reporting on and contributing to the Group’s financial performance,
Delivering analysis, insights and advice,
Providing corporate property and sourcing solutions; and
Managing risks and compliance.
The Senior Manager Finance Support leads the Group Reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fleet Services teams.
The role provides expertise and solutions in the continuous improvement area to the wider Group and contributes to the vision, values and strategy of the organisation by enabling the provision of timely and effective reporting, data analysis, reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable services in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Process efficiency is a key focus of the role across all teams to ensure the most effective and resourceful approach to critical tasks performed.
This will be an ideal opportunity to take ownership and drive change/continuous improvement.
The role is 2-year fixed term, and we are open to location of Bendigo, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney.
Experience, capabilities and qualifications
Proven ability to successfully lead and deliver major initiatives (projects, change)
Previous experience leading a team (technical and generalist roles)
Demonstrated capacity to build effective relationships and work with multiple internal stakeholders and external vendors in a complex operating environment
Demonstrated technical experience with Finance and Reconciliation software solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collate information, objectively identify issues and opportunities, adapt to changing circumstances, and determine an optimal solution
Strong personal motivation, drive, resilience and self-management skills
Degree qualified in relevant discipline (Accounting, Finance, IT)
