Bendigo & Adelaide Bank Hiring for Business Intelligence Analyst Job at Remote Full Time

About the role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst in our Products & Analysis team you will support Bendigo and Adelaide Bank to achieve our vision of being Australia’s Bank of choice through identifying, executing and tracking outcomes of opportunities that will improve the financial performance of the Bank and provide better outcomes/experience for our Customers.

In this role you will design and develop dashboards and visualisations for internal stakeholders using Microsoft Power BI. You will use data modelling to connect various internal and external data sources and create visualisations to uncover actionable insights and answer questions around the changing trends and future needs of our customers.

Join a high performing team of skilled SMEs who embrace collaboration and work in-step using Agile practices. While geographically dispersed, the team are virtually connected and therefore we’re open to people working remotely and will consider applicants based anywhere in Australia. This is a full time position with flexible work options, available as a 12 month maximum term contract.

Your knowledge & experience

We are looking for someone with the following technical experience:

Strong critical thinking and communication skills: Ability to analyse business information and data, think creatively, ask questions, collaborate with others, identify solutions and communicate ideas and insights

Demonstrated experience in developing data models and data visualisations using Business Intelligence software such as Power BI

Database query experience such as SQL Server and Oracle

Experience with Power BI Service will also be highly regarded

You can understand people’s problems, dive deep into the data, and persevere to deliver practical solutions which you can communicate in a meaningful and influential way to your stakeholders.
