JOB DUTIES

• Design learning activities that will relate to students – grades 7 through 12.
• Collect and monitor academic and behavioral progress data for students

• Communicate with a team of clinical professionals and referrals to discuss the individual student’s progress
• Apply the in a way that each student will improve their skills and feel successful
• Participate in all resident activities, programs, and departmental meeting
• Identify students who need academic or social/behavior interventions
• Implement and assess targeted interventions
• Monitor and ensure sped service minutes are being provided and draft IEPs for students
• Collaborate with related services in providing cross discipline service

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• We are looking for a teacher with excellent interpersonal skills, a sense of humor who thrives on working with adolescent boys
• You must have the ability and interest to work with students at different grade and skill levels
• Secondary Education Teaching License
• Special Educations Endorsement k-12
