We are currently seeking to add a highly motivated Customer Experience Concierge to our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with their furniture needs, providing design advice and solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction with BenchMade Modern products and services. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development. This position will work 8 hours both Saturday and Sunday plus 3 days during the week, 5 pm to 7 pm PST.
Responsibilities:
Design Experts play a vital role in helping the customer through the design process. You’ll assist our customers by making the design and online ordering process less complicated and let’s face it, less scary.
● Offer friendly, timely, and proactive communication to our customers- From assisting them with product related questions to making sure they have all the necessary information and tools they need to customize their new BMM furniture and place an order.
● Manage complete selling process, from customer first touch, to purchase execution, ensuring the customer experience is exceptional.
● Become an expert on all BenchMade Modern collections, materials, and construction details.
● Assist our customer through one-on-one consultations- providing them with collection, layout, and fabric/leather suggestions based off their needs.
● Collaborate with the cross-functional team to resolve issues with customer’s order and provide customer support with a customer-first approach.
● Provide general customer service and customer support to new and existing customers – from status updates on their order, to assisting with managing their timelines and expectations.
Qualifications:
● 1-3 years in a customer-facing role (Customer Service, Customer Support, Client
Relations, or Sales)
● Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills
● Strong attention to detail and interest in the design industry
● Outstanding problem solving skills and “can-do” attitude- always willing to learn and go
the extra mile for the customer
● Knowledge of the furniture and design industry strongly preferred
● Experience working with a luxury good or furniture DTC business strongly preferred
● Strong time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks
● Proficiency in Zendesk or similar CX software a plus
