The Group Finance Assistant will be a key component of the Group Finance team in what is a wide and varied role offering experience of many different aspects of operational finance and financial reporting. Main areas of responsibility will include monthly and quarterly reporting to parent entity in Paris under IFRS along with analysis of regional performance and KPIs for monthly management information and production of financial performance presentations, liaising with local financial controllers in individual businesses worldwide and other ad-hoc projects including analysis and finance presentations.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Financial reporting
- Preparation of monthly revenue and operating profit comments to report to LVMH
- Assistance with preparation of monthly “Green book” management accounts including analysis of KPIs
- Issue monthly FX rates and analysis
- Analysis and reporting of budget and forecast results
- Preparation of financial performance presentations
- Loading of monthly reports into consolidation system for certain entities
- Assistance with reviewing field submissions in LVMH reporting system
- Loading reports to LVMH reporting system for certain centrally managed entities
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Reconciling LVMH reporting system to internal accounting systems
- Assistance with other reporting requirements – real estate, capex etc
- Assistance addressing LVMH queries on submitted reporting
- Analysis of key balance sheet movements
Other
- Assistance with preparation of UK statutory accounts
- Completion of National Statistics Surveys
- Assistance with presentations and other ad hoc duties as required
