Main Responsibilities Include:
Coordinating recruitment campaigns from initial planning stage to candidates starting in post, including:
Preparing and posting job adverts
Ensuring all incoming applications are completed in full and obtaining any further information where required
Monitoring applications and screening candidates based on stipulated criteria
Scheduling and carrying out interviews and making post-interview recommendations
Ensuring that information held on candidates is accurate and up to date
Liaising with the Sales and Marketing Department regarding staffing
Ensuring all contractual documents are received and filed accordingly
Collecting reference requests and DBS records
Coordinating centre staff employment dates
Carrying out all pre-employment checks and organising staff schedules in preparation for the centres opening
Ensuring that recruitment consistently achieves the standard set out in British Council/English UK guidelines
Liaising with senior management about any problems with staff
Providing payroll advice
Visiting sites to support, monitor and evaluate the success of the recruitment campaign

About You
Essential Requirements:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Experience with recruitment including carrying out interviews and making recruitment decisions
Experience of carrying out HR pre-employment checks (e.g. right to work checks, references etc)
Strong Excel skills
Highly organised
Flexibility
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable Requirements
Working towards CIPD or a Degree in an HR related subjected
Experience working in a school or language school setting
Experience in processing background checks including DBS and Police Checks
Experience dealing with high volume recruitment
