This is a direct position with our key client. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, packing, and processing shipments both domestic, and internationally.

Shipment responsibilities are primarily generated from sales orders but also all company demands for shipping including internal and external requests.

To be considered for this role, you will have a High School Diploma along with 2+ years of related experience.Logistics Specialist Job Responsibilities : Prepare customer orders for shipment including packaging, and paperworkVerify parts on pick lists for accurate shipmentsProcess shipments through ERP system for customer ordersProcess shipments through carrier based software (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Worldship)Prepare paperwork for both domestic and international shipments including but not limited to : Certificates of Origin, Commercial Invoices, Commodity database informationCoordinate LTL pickups both on-site and remote with third party forwarders to ensure the best price and transit timesPlans shipment schedules to meet both internal and external delivery.
