About the Role

We are pursuing a Finance Analyst to assist with weekly/ monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting and building of reporting capability for the Bega Group Logistics. This is a permanent, full-time role, located at Bega’s Docklands office.
Key responsibilities:
  • Preparation of month end accounting, including accruals, reallocation journals, intercompany journals and prepayments
  • Preparation of monthly Group D&W cost recharges to Business Units, ensuring allocation model is frequently reviewed for updates in activity-based cost drivers and master data changes
  • Update the weekly and monthly reports with drivers reviewed by the Group Logistics and Business unit teams
  • Reconciliation of invoices with AP reports and vendor statements for national logistics suppliers and maintenance of invoice trackers
  • Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and partner with Group Logistics to deliver a robust outlook in line with the planning calendar
  • Assist Group Logistics with supporting data for audits, internal control, budgets, and additional business requests
  • Assist Finance Manager- Group logistics with building of reporting capability for Bega Logistics group
About you:
  • Accounting/Finance/Commerce degree
  • CA/CPA qualified or part-qualified
  • Management and/or financial accounting experience
  • M3 or SAP training
  • BI training is highly desirable
