Under general supervision, recruits and coordinates interviewing, references, and documentation for Medical Center staff hiring. Performs a variety of recruitment, employee relations, counseling and compensation functions for Medical Center staff.
A minimum of 2-3 years experience in HR/recruitment.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience in Human Resources/Recruitment.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Able to communicate effectively, pleasantly, cooperatively, and discretely. Able to work under pressure. Willingness to increase knowledge . Demonstration of creativity, initiative and problem solving.
Recruitment: Working with leadership – attend conferences and recruiting fairs, including on-site job fairs with a focus on particular positions or departments.
Manages requisitions by posting timely and following all process steps.
Follows all appropriate steps in hiring process to ensure jobs are filled in a timely manner with the best candidates possible.
Evaluates experience and determine salary according to compensation guidelines working with the Director of HRIS/Compensation. Presents job offers and arranges pre-employment health screening.
Cultivates relationships with all management within job responsibilities. Understands job requirements of positions and gains an understanding of all positions.
Maintains knowledge of and communicates established Medical Center and Human Resources Policies, procedures, and objectives.
Listens to issues raised by team members and directs them to the appropriate resource. Acts as liaison as necessary.
Obtains temporary/traveler staffing as requested by leadership team. Utilizes primary traveler company as much as possible. Uses other agencies for interim positions or temporary to permanent positions.
Evaluates trends in recruitment, retention, and compensation, bringing issues and ideas forward to HR leadership. Works with other recruiters to identify best advertising methods.
