We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter to join the Beaverbrooks Recruitment team at our Head Office in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire.

In this role, you will be working closely with our other In-house Recruiter and will be part of a small team that supports the hiring managers in our 72 stores, our office departments & our Recruitment & Training Managers, to attract and retain the best possible people for our business.

This role is based at our office in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. We are a social and culture centric company so whilst there will be some flexibility to work remotely, there would also be the expectation to spend some of the working week from our covid safe office. This can be discussed further at interview.

Main Responsibilities

• Being the first point of contact for any applicant queries that come via the careers email and by phone.
• Supporting hiring managers and applicants with queries relating to our applicant tracking system.
• Advertising of store and office vacancies via a variety of ad hoc methods, when necessary, to include job boards and social media platforms.
• Supporting office managers with writing engaging job adverts
• Managing office vacancies from initial meeting with hiring managers all the way through to offer stage
• Proactive candidate searching our ATS talent pool, LinkedIn Recruiter and CV databases.
• Creating and posting engaging content on company pages (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed)
• Supporting hiring managers with invites and feedback for behavioural psychometrics
• Vacancy reporting
• Cover when required for the Recruitment Coordinator to include supporting the hiring managers with the process for all new starters joining the business, such as:
  • Setting up new starter files
  • Carrying out reference checks
  • Job offer letters and new starter contracts
  • Arranging, booking, and inviting new starters to inductions
  • Booking induction accommodation and training rooms where necessary
  • Printing and sending materials for inductions.

The Ideal Candidate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Previous recruitment experience either from in-house or agency
• A passion for recruitment and providing the highest level of customer care for candidates and hiring managers
• Knowledge of legislation relating to recruitment
• Experience of using an applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to prioritise
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Computer literate – confident user of word, excel & the internet
• High attention to detail & levels of accuracy
• Understanding of Data Protection

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Previous experience working with Tribepad (ATS).
• Knowledge of Boolean searching and the use of a range of sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter and CV databases.
• Experienced in writing engaging job adverts
• Previous experience working with behavioural psychometrics.
