Role Responsibilities

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing Glaucoma Australia’s digital marketing strategies with the aim to increase patient acquisition, drive community engagement and help grow revenue to achieve their purpose and mission. ing to the Online Marketing and Customer Engagement Manager you will you be responsible for:

• Implementing and optimising paid social media and search engine marketing campaigns in collaboration with digital agencies to achieve patient acquisition and revenue goals.
• Developing and managing eDM campaigns and automated journeys to engage and educate the community.
• Nurturing the organisation’s social media accounts and fostering growth in the social media community, especially on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Overseeing the planning and execution of online patient education events, working closely with the Orthoptist Educator.
• Expanding the organisation’s eCommerce presence to increase the product range and revenue.
• Assisting in managing the organisation’s websites, identifying areas for improvement and growth using tools like Google Analytics, SEO, and web content.
• Creating and sharing engaging content, including text, images, videos, and stories, according to a pre-agreed schedule.
• Delivering insightful ing and providing actionable recommendations for campaign optimisation.
• Using data insights to fine-tune campaigns, maximizing engagement and return on investment.

The Successful Candidate:

• Possession of tertiary qualifications in Marketing & Communications or an equivalent blend of knowledge, skills, and practical experience.
• While experience within a not-for-profit organisation is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
• Demonstrated extensive proficiency in utilising digital marketing tools, encompassing CRM, CMS, SEM, SEO, eCommerce, email marketing, graphic design, video editing, social media management, and data analytics.
• Adept at infusing creativity into high quality content creation, whether it be in the form of text, imagery, video, or storytelling.
• Exhibiting superb copywriting and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in organisational prowess, analytical acumen, and multitasking dexterity.
• Displaying exemplary customer service skills, inclusive of empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution.
