About the Team

In 2021 we grew from 3 cities to 11 in a year with a lot more to come.

Centralized team of 4; breaking up to local FIN functions as Group scales in size

Work with Group FC in HQ, and SSC (when up) to support ANZ finance operations + tax, accounting and compliance issues

Individual contributor with potential to expand the team as ANZ scales.

Looking to set up SSC in KL

Finance still in its infancy, opportunities to share local/global best practices, set up new processes, introduce and implement new support functions to drive local operations

There is no country finance weekly meeting. Whole finance team meets weekly, and updates everyone about what’s happening across the Group.

Responsibilities

Ensure internal compliance with Group/local accounting policies, as well as control procedures

Work with our accounting firm to ensure external compliance with statutory requirements, such as tax and audit

Prepare BAS/IAS submissions

Drive financial reporting for ANZ operations, perform month-end close, reconciliations

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, any reporting activities and treasury management

Manage external stakeholders such as auditors, tax agents, banks, vendors etc.

Support and/or drive global improvement projects for processes and systems.

Requirements

Conversant with IFRS and AAS

Familiar with local tax and company statutory requirements

Detailed-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

Well-planned and organised, able to meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure

Hands-on and enjoy diving deep into systems and processes

Prior experience working in a multi-country business is an advantage

Prior experience working in a fast-growing company is an advantage

Some experience in audit is an advantage

Some experience in Oracle Netsuite
