Since 1963, Beairsto & Associates Engineering Ltd. (BASE) has been providing engineering design and surveying towards the growth and development of the communities we serve. As an independent firm with a continuity of experience and personnel since the beginning, we have an intimate knowledge of all of the projects we have facilitated.
BASE has always been 100% locally owned and operated, and we believe success has come from striving to serve our community in a way that only an informed and invested local provider can. We have grown over the years, moving from a staff complement of three people at inception to over 50 personnel today.
This growth has included the expansion of our services from Survey, to Municipal and Civil Engineering, Building Design Engineering, and Oil and Gas Legal Survey. Most recently Geotechnical Engineering & Material Testing, have been added to our service compliment. Now, with four divisions and four office locations, BASE proudly boasts an extensive in-house team of engineers, technologists, draftspersons, surveyors, and support staff, making it possible to oversee almost every aspect of our projects in house and without subcontracted services. Our recent expansion has opened an opportunity for a Senior Materials Technician / Lab Supervisor for our Grande Prairie location.
