About the role

Our Corporate Finance team is one of the leading Valuations, Transaction Services and Mergers and Acquisitions teams in WA. As a Senior Analyst in Transaction Services, you’ll be collaborating with a team of talented corporate finance practitioners on a variety of projects, continuously looking for ways to innovate and providing insightful advice to our clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. Our clients include Australian private and listed corporates, private equity firms and global enterprises.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

• Proven experience in Transaction Services, OR a background in external audit with a passion to learn and develop your career;
• Ability to develop a strong understanding of businesses through analysis of quality of earnings, historical trading, net debt, capital expenditure, working capital, cash flow, forecasts and underlying assumptions and drivers of business performance;
• Effective written and verbal communication skills;
• Prior exposure to or interest in the broader deal/ transaction process or M&A lifecycle;
• Highly accomplished and confident in fostering long-term, ongoing relationships; and
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel and experience in developing and/or reviewing financial models.

The required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Accounting
• Postgraduate qualification or currently studying, e.g. CA, CPA, CFA, MBA or Masters in Applied Finance
