We are seeking a People and Culture Business Partner to join our team in Melbourne. Within this position you will be responsible for partnering with the firm and key stakeholder groups to provide support and advice to enable achievement of organisational and service line objectives.

Day to day, you will:

• Advise and support management and staff in relation to the entire employee lifecycle including employee relations and performance management, remuneration, employee engagement, policies and procedures, learning and development and workplace health and safety matters.
• Collaborate and engage with stakeholders to facilitate proactive HR solutions, including the use of influencing and negotiation skills to challenge current thinking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Partners/Managers through the provision of high quality advice, guidance and ideas/solutions.
• Manage the employee engagement process, including guiding employees through the survey process, debriefing results and creating action plans.
• Contribute to additional People and Culture projects as required.
• Act as a key member within the BDO People and Culture team.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Proven experience working within a similar business partnering role within a complex structure
• High level stakeholder management skills and strong experience partnering with client groups.
• Tertiary qualifications in HR/Business Management degree (or equivalent).
• Ability to work collaboratively.
