Your opportunity:
BDO Canada is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Software Implementation Consultant to join the Technology Consulting team. The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
Support FP&A solution implementation planning and analysis of client business requirements and objectives.
Participate and/or lead design and knowledge transfer workshops with clients.
Provide client implementation and post go-live support and consultation regarding issues with configuration.
Work with the Project Lead to ensure that the project governance is accurate and up to date.
Be a key contributor to the overall knowledge and growth of our FP&A practice.
Help to develop junior staff by mentoring both on product knowledge as well as consulting skills.
How do we define success for your role?
You will continue to develop your FP&A software proficiency and consulting skills.
You will understand the industries BDO services and contribute to the group’s advancement.
You will support our firm’s revenue growth by referring clients to other services lines and new clients to BDO.
You will actively engage in communication with people leaders to ensure understanding of performance and development, while identifying and attracting top talent.
You will recommend and implement quality or efficiency improvements to our engagements.
You will ensure work is complete, accurate and appropriately reviewed.
You will maintaining the necessary technical knowledge, professional development and certifications.
Your experience and education
1-2 years of experience implementing and supporting end users with Workday Adaptive Planning, Vena Solutions and/or Prophix Software required.
Nice to have – hold or working towards an Accounting Designation (CA, CPA) or university degree/college diploma in accounting or business with equivalent work experience.
Nice to have – experience in providing pre-sales support, including responding to RFP’s and performing product demonstrations.
