BCS Investment Services Hiring for Accounting Manager Job at New York, NY Full Time

This is a full-time opportunity to work for a specialized professional services and investments firm that builds and accelerates the growth of impactful healthcare tech and services businesses.

We need an Assistant Controller who is willing to do some basic bookkeeping work, along with higher level functions.

Assistant Controller Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation

Federal

• Collect and Organize all Tax Documentation required by outside accountant – March for Company estimated K1s, September for Company final K1s

• Generate 1099s in January

State

• File WA Excise Tax return – quarterly starting in 2022

• Estimated payments to NYC UBT (Company) and NY PTET (Company and Company)

• File DE yearly registrations for all DE LLCs

Local

• File NYC Rent Tax return – quarterly

• Bookkeeping

• Reconcile books monthly for two entities

• A/R

• Generate all invoices based on retainers received

• Communicate with customers on past due invoices

• Record and bank all income deposits

• A/P

• Generate all bills based on invoices received

• Communicate with vendors as needed (obtain W9s, etc) and review contracts for best terms, when possible

• Record and pay all expenses

• Investments

• Review of terms and organization of documentation

• Confirm all payment information and facilitate payments as needed

• Expense reports

• Process all expense reports on biweekly (once every two weeks) basis

• Record and categorize all company credit card charges

• Payroll + Benefits

• Onboard and offboard all employees from payroll system

• Maintain data on promotions or other position changes

• Insure proper processing of all one time (bonuses) and regular (health insurance allowance) payments

• Insure 401K is properly compliance tested and administered

• Entity Formation

• Form all required new entities for Ventures studio and Oxeon Holdings

• Obtain EINs as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
