BCPG Public Company Limited Hiring for Country Manager -USA at Boston, MA Full Time

Lead and direct the overall operation within a responsible country (USA) to ensure that operates smoothly and meets the business objectives. Build connection and develop new business opportunities for company growth and profits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of a company’s affiliate in a particular country to ensure that all activities meet the company’s short and long – term business objectives.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for CCGT investments in PJM and other markets, aligning with corporate goals and objective.
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities, assess risks, and stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitors’ activities.
• Build professional relationships and business connections to develop new business opportunities and expanding operation in-country to support company’s growth. i.e. identify potential project opportunities and negotiation partnerships.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, government agencies, utilities, and financial institutions etc.
• Synthesize and submit weekly, monthly or quarterly performance and progress s to company headquarters, outlining project status, operational and financial performance, and strategic recommendations.
• Oversee and manage company’s affiliate in responsible country to ensure that all aspects of a business operate smoothly and adheres to all country regulations and cultural guidelines.
• Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity.
• Contribute to the improvement and development of the operation’s overall risk management by establishing emergency plans, crisis management plan and others policies and programs, including monitor and evaluate areas of the operational risks.
• Direct and oversee Health, Safety and Environments policies and standards to ensure HSE management systems for operation are appropriated and mitigate company risks.
• Keep Business Continuity Management (BCM) updated at regular intervals to reflect the latest status (for example BCM plan structure, Alternates for Key personnel, Alternates site).
• Prepare and manage operation budget, monitor the cost effectiveness of operation activities to optimize resources.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance and mentorship to drive individual and collective success.
• Improve coordination and communication to encourage collaborative and maximize the cooperation between country offices and company headquarters.
• Manage local staff, analyze and respond to Human Resource models and policies designed by company headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance , or a related field (Maste’s degree preferred) or any relatedfield.
• Proven experience in the energy sector, with a strong background in CCGT investments or power generation projects.
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning, project management, and business development.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory and environmental considerations within the US Gas and Energy markets, especially in PJM market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
