BCC Research Hiring for Senior Account Director Full Time

BCC Research has a 50+ year history in providing comprehensive analyses of global market sizing, forecasting and industry intelligence covering markets where science and technology are improving the quality, standard and sustainability of business, economies and lives.

We are looking for a Senior Account Director to join the Sales team, ing into the Director of
Sales. The BCC Research Senior Account Director will be responsible building a strategic client relationship with organizations generating over 10 billion (USD) of annual revenue as well as managing tier one strategic accounts and targets. In this role, you will work with C-level executives
(business and technology leaders) across BCC Market Research as it relates to enterprise-wide subscriptions, strategic bundles of content and various customized solutions. Roughly 60% time will be focused on new business and 40% on managing existing accounts with upside potential.

You will engage in a consultative sales approach, meeting with C-suite executives to understand their highest priority initiatives for renewals and account penetration. You will clearly articulate how BCC
Market Research can deliver deeper market and business insights in support of their decision- making processes.

The BCC offices are located in Boston, MA and this role will be remote depending on your location or hybrid working if you are in a commutable distance to the office, but predominantly from home.

About you

• Be very motivated by generating new business, including new custom solutions.
• Focusing on a limited number of existing strategic accounts with large growth potential

Responsibilities

• Develop sales and growth strategy for your accounts with focus on renewing and up-selling

BCC products and services

• Maintain an appropriate and accurate sales pipeline of adequate size to ensure target quota achievement; maintain pipeline information in CRM system (Salesforce)
• Provide forecasting on strategic new business goals and path to obtain success.
• Proficient understanding of market research industry in (vertical), research methodology, client’s business, and products & services suitable to meet the client’s needs
• Target and sell to senior management (Director, VP, C-level) in R&D; Business Development;

Corporate Venturing; and/or Strategy and M&A; Professors, Esteemed Faculty, Licensing
Directors

• Conducting sales meetings with customers and delivering company sales pitches
• Onboarding customers and ongoing customer service, including arranging client debriefs on all closed sales
• Package and sales negotiation
• International travel to meet with clients when required including attending industry trade shows
• Assisting with BCC events and industry events as required

Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of total account management experience
• 3-5+ years of research and advisory specific experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education
• Excellent customer management skills
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Peer mentorship and team leadership
• Familiarity with CRM tools, ability to create spreadsheets and build presentations

Package

• A total of target earning consisting of base salary and commission dependent on experience.

Estimated minimum 1st year income at goal of $100,000 to $180,000.
