BC Whale Tours is Looking for Guest Service Agent Full Time

BC Whale Tours is a premium marine adventure company that operates out of Victoria, BC. We specialize in boutique whale watching adventures in high-end, custom-made vessels. We are looking for one part-time Guest Service Agent to join our team for the 2023 season!

You will be the front line of the company, greeting and checking guests in for their tours, answering phone calls, emails, guest inquiries, taking payments, and assisting in regular cleaning of the cruiser suits

A successful candidate will have a positive attitude, will be self-motivated, energetic & a team player.

The successful candidates will have experience in the following:

– Previous experience in tourism/hospitality and/or customer service industry

– Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, and social media

– Handling cash and taking payments

-comfortable working alone as well as with others

– Basic marine knowledge of the local wildlife (not required- on site training will be provided)

-secondary language is an asset

– Must be available weekends (required) + some week days/evenings (Earliest start time will be 8:30am, and the latest end time will be 8:00pm)

Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

Salary: $20.00 per hour

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:
